EtherNet/IP Adapter Software


The EtherNet/IP Adapter Software enables developers of PC based orembedded products to quickly add EtherNet/IP Adapter Classfunctionality to a product\'s feature set.


Applications for the EtherNet/IP Adapter Software involveEtherNet/IP-capable devices like I/O-Modules, encoders, valves,simple drives and other components used in factoryautomation.


The Adapter Software provides I/O Server and Message Servercapability as well as an Application Programming Interface (API)for the application.


The Software is delivered as complete source code - EtherNet/IPAdapter Developers\' Kit (EADK) or as DLL for Microsoft Windows XP,Vista and Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) - EtherNet/IP Adapter DLL Kit(EIPA).


The EtherNet/IP Adapter Software is offered as royalty-free companysite license.

An adaptation to other systems is possible using the EtherNet/IPAdapter Developers\' Kit (EADK) which is delivered entirely insource code.


This adaptation can also be done by IXXAT.


A suitable operating system as well as TCP/IP protocol stack mustbe already available for the target system, as they are not part ofthe delivery content of the EtherNet/IP Adapter Software.
