Introduction
Polyacrylamide (PAM) for water treatment can be anionic polyacrylamide (APAM) , cation polyacrylamide (CPAM), and nonionic polyacrylamide(NPAM), which is a most widely used water-soluble polymer. Polyacrylamide has the function of flocculation, filtration, thickening, stabilizing colloid, drag reduction, rheology modifiers, adhesives,film and gel. Polyacrylamide are widely applied in the field of petroleum geology exploration, mineral processing, coal washing, paper making, textile, sugar making, food processing, water treatmentand other industries.

Characteristics
Polyacrylamide white sand-like powder, water-soluble polymers or polyelectrolytes, its molecular chain containing a certain amount ofpolar groups, so it can absorb solid particles suspended in water, making he bridge between the particles and forming large flocs. Application
1. Use as a flocculant for waste water treatment, coal beneficiation, white water recycling in paper industry, chemical industry andsolid-liquid separation.

3. For textile sizing agents with stable performance, low fabric breakage rate and clean surface.

The water generally appears black and smells badly which is because it contains a large number of organics, such as cellulose, starch, sugar and fat proteins,etc. It often contains bacteria and virus and its PH value is mostly neutral. It is better to treat it with anion and PAC. In some cases, we can also use cationic with low ionic degrees and inorganicPAC to deal with it. A ton of water consume 480g PAC and 3g ~ 10g PAM. You can choose the models according to the nature of the mud, generally with neutral ionic degree. The sludge can be pressed directly by the filter press, achieving dewatering. It needsdifferent usage with different solid clay. It is general to use 5 ~ 25g PAM in one ton of sludge.
